Comparison of monthly severity for previous years

Monthly severity is taken as the average of the Daily Severity Ratings over the month. Daily severity is calculated for each weather station. Daily severity is drived from the FWI value of the Fire Weather Index System and can generally be described as measuring a combination of dryness and windiness.

The far right collumn contains the average for that month over the 10 year period 1994/95-2003/04.
